About Dr. Usha Alim

Dr Usha J. Alim has been associated with the subject of psychology since 1959. From 1959-1964 she was a student of Psychology, getting the Bachelors and Masters degrees of Delhi University.

Since 1964 she has been teaching Psychology at Zakir Husain College (formerly Delhi College) affiliated with Delhi University. She retired in 2005 as a Reader and the Head of Department of Psychology. Her areas of specialization are Organizational Behavior, Systems of Psychology, General Psychology and Mental Testing. These areas cover more than 60% of the civil services present syllabus.

In 1982 she did her doctorate in Psycholinguistics, another area very related to the IAS syllabus.

She started teaching for the CIvil Services, privately, in 1982 and has coached a large number of students since then. Since 1982 hundreds of students have achieved success with the help of Psychology coaching by DR Usha Alim's proficient and professional teaching and test series, in IAS,IPS,IRS etc.
